Just read Kingdom Language by Kirk Hillman and was blown away by the insightful interpretations of the Bible and God's Word. I came away from this book with quite a lot to think about and discuss with others. It's full of fresh perspectives, all carefully thought out and very well presented. No matter what you have always believed or have never believed, you'll appreciate what Elder Hillman has presented here and want to share the thinking with others. This is not a bible-thumping book for the close-minded, but one that honestly inspires you to go back and rethink what you thought you already knew. It's an inspiring, illuminating read for Christians and non-Christians alike.

Elder Hillman's book is straightforward, yet thought-provoking. It is written in a manner that helps the reader understand the foundation and meaning of God's words as written in the bible.
The Gospel Message of Salvation
Is your life reconciled to God? This may be the first time in your life that you have ever been asked this question. Understand that this is the most crucial question you will ever have to answer.
The Bad News
The rebellion of the first man Adam against God's command not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, brought death, suffering and separation from God into this world. We see the results all around us. All of Adam's descendants are sinful from conception (that 's you and me), and have entered into this rebellion (sin). Therefore we cannot live in relationship with a holy God; instead we are condemned to eternal separation from Him. Scripture says that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that all are therefore subject to "everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power".
The Good News
Well, God has done something about this. Not that you or I have asked Him to, but that He chose to. Scripture says that "for God so loved the world, that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life".
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, though totally sinless, suffered on behalf of mankind by taking the penalty of mankind's sin upon Himself and died on a cross separated from God to satisfy the righteous demands of the holiness and justice of God; His Father. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice; He did for mankind what mankind could not do for himself. He died on a cross, then on the third day following His death He rose from the dead. He conquered death and the grave so that all who truly believe and trust in Him and who repent of their sin, are able to reconcile their life back to God and live for eternity with the Creator.
Your Response
Are you prepared to meet the Lord when you die? Are you sure you know where you will spend eternity? Make sure you say "yes" to God's provision of eternal life.
Salvation that comes from trusting Christ - which is the message we preach - is already within easy reach. In fact, the Scriptures say, "The message is close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart." For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. Romans 10:8-10 (NLT)
